OMEN is an American heavy metal band formed in 1983 by guitarist Kenny Powell. Shortly after forming, the band was signed by Metal Blade Records. Before that there was also a successful compilation appearance with "Torture me" on Metal Massacre V in 1984.
Metal Blade released first three OMEN studio albums, "Battle Cry", "Warning of Danger" and "The Curse". Also "Teeth of the Hydra", compilation album was released in 1989. After leaving Metal Blade, Omen was signed to an indie record label named KPR. Currently they have released six full-length albums, two EPs and "Omen" boxed set, Omen also released a live CD named "Into the Arena - 20 years live" in 2008. Omen is one of the first true Power Metal bands in the World. They can be considered as one of the most important bands in Epic/Power Metal style, along with Manilla Road and Manowar. Most of the old Iron Maiden and Cirith Ungol fans also adore them.
SAVAGE GRACE is a speed metal band from Los Angeles, California, Form by Christian Logue and Brian East Aka "The Beast" (from the Pacific Northwest Band Allybrat) active from 1981 through 1993. Two Demos in 1982 and 1984, The Dominatress EP in 1983 and finally "Master of Disguise", their praised debut album was released in 1985. Second album, "After the Fall from Grace" was released in 1986 and the band also released an Pic.Ep called "Ride into the Night" in 1987. After that the band never released another recording. After all these years and underground following it is fair to say that Savage Grace has truely deserved their cult status. Chris Logue refound the band with Roxxcalibur members in 2009 in order to make some live concerts. Now it is once in a life time chance to see this band live in Finland!
MASTER is a death metal band formed in Chicago, USA in 1983 as the band Warcry fell apart. Shortly after however, the band was put on hold due to internal prolems and Paul Speckmann then formed the band Death Strike, which was renamed again back to Master in 1985. Master is one of the earliest death metal bands along with such bands as Possessed, Death, Necrophagia and Morbid Angel, however they are quite ofter overlooked. Last time Master played in Helsinki in the beginning of sweet 1990's so it is about time they strike back to Finland!
